Join us for a night of Shakespearean love and scorn at our annual fundraising gala!
The Boise Bard Players will be hosting our Annual Fundraiser on February 25th at Mad Swede Brewing on Cole Road.
With an ambitious $66,000 season budget, we need community support now more than ever! Our goal for the 2023 season is to quadruple our artist stipends to provide a working wage and keep local artists local.
With the help of our season sponsors and Patreon supporters, we have already raised $8,500—about 13% to our goal!
Join us for a night of light refreshments and a live auction, showcasing items from businesses and individuals across the Treasure Valley.
In true Boise Bard fashion, there will be entertainment to show you the artistry you are supporting. Help us continue to make Shakespeare and other classics economically and emotionally accessible to Boise and beyond!

Help us fund our 2023 Season!
We’re committed to producing our 2023 Season, consisting of Hamlet at the Old Penitentiary, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Measure for Measure.

We know Shakespeare can sound like a foreign language at times, so our goal is to bridge the 400 year gap from Shakespeare’s day to ours by focusing on each and every word in the plays we produce. What we lack in lights, elaborate sets, and fantastical costumes, we make up for in focus on the language—the true star of these plays.
While the Bard’s words are timeless, it takes a considerable amount of work to exceptionally perform them for our times. Help us continue the cultural journey of discovering what Shakespeare means to us today.
Money raised from both the ticket sales to the fundraiser and the sale of auction items goes directly to producing our 2023 Season and offering artists a working wage.
