About the Show…

Prospero, the once Duke of Milan and a powerful magician, and his young daughter, Miranda, have been the only humans on an island near the coast of Italy for many years, living alongside its wild and magical inhabitants. Then everything changes when Prospero calls a storm to wreck the King’s ship offshore. Murderous plots, young love, betrayal, dreams of freedom, and the struggle for forgiveness bind together one of Shakespeare’s best loved plays.

Our cast of 11 play multiple parts in the production, adding to the plays’ already frenzied pace where The Boise Bard Players revel.
