Members vs Patrons

What is the difference between being a member and a patron of Boise Bard Players?

The simple answer: Donations.

Members:

Members of “The Rabble, Hautboys, Attendants, et al!” (our membership group) are notified of the goings on of the Boise Bard Players including our future shows, special guest events, audience participatory play selection, etc. The best part of this group is that it is absolutely FREE. To join this group please use our Contact Us page to fill out the provided form. (Your information will remain private and will only be used for contact purposes.)

Patrons:

The best part of becoming a patron of the Boise Bard Players is that we are officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means that your donations are tax-deductible.

While Shakespeare’s words are timeless, it takes a considerable amount of work to exceptionally perform them for our times. Your patronage ensures we have the capital to grow our efforts by buying updated research materials, hiring local artists, and renting the required rehearsal and performance spaces. Help us continue the cultural journey of discovering what Shakespeare means to us today! To become a patron of the Boise Bard Players, get in touch with us on our Contact Us page, or simply go to our Patreon page to begin donating now.
