FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 24 – May 4 at Trailhead Boise
Boise, ID — The Boise Bard Players invite audiences to indulge in a whirlwind of comedy, cleverness, and chaos with their production of The Servant of Two Masters, running April 24–May 4, 2025 at Trailhead Boise.
Directed by BBP Artistic Director Chris Canfield, this bold and playful take on Carlo Goldoni’s 18th-century commedia dell’arte masterpiece features mistaken identities, absurd disguises, double-crossed lovers—and one very overworked servant trying to juggle it all.
“This show is full of humor and heart,” says Canfield. “Traditionally, ‘clowns’ or ‘fools’ can simultaneously be both the smartest and the most vulnerable person in the room. They have the ability to speak truth to us without raising our defenses. Come take a break from the wacky world and experience this truly wacky cast of characters, and leave feeling better than you have in months.”
